Amazing local activities include climbing Mount Coolum (5 min drive) and the Coastal Walk from Point Arkwright to Coolum. Fantastic restaurants are 2 km shaded walk away. Point Arkwright attracts fisherman and spear fisherman all year round with the array of fish around the rocky point. Spend the afternoon crab hunting or digging for pipis. Patrolled beaches at coolum and Yaroomba on school holidays will ensure you are safe while enjoying the views.
Amenities are there for you to enjoy please use whatever is available while you stay. This includes boogie boards, stand up paddle boards, surfboards and a huge array of books. And freshly ground coffee of course!

Other things to note (based on recent review)
The house is beautifully set up high (driveway steep, but got the heart pumping!), with the most amazing views. Fully equipped kitchen, with all amenities catered for. No air conditioning, but being so high, the wonderful sea breezes filtered the house. Great spot for sharing a family holiday - we took our bikes and enjoyed the wandering paths and boardwalks. Love Coolum/Marcoola, and this house is perfectly situated away from the crowded areas.
